Founder, Smart Data Analysis and Statistics

Dr. Thomas Debray is a leading expert in precision medicine and real-world evidence, with over a decade of experience in biostatistics. He has held research positions at Utrecht University, University College London, and the University of Oxford and is a guest scientist at University Medical Center Göttingen. As the founder of SDAS, he collaborates with pharma and biotech companies to advance clinical trial design, predictive modeling, and evidence-based decision-making.

Tri-Long Nguyen

Associate Professor

Dr. Long Nguyen is associate professor at the University of Copenhagen. He is conducting epidemiological/statistical methodological research at the nexus of causal inference and prediction modelling with medical and public health applications. Together with Dr. Thomas Debray and Prof. Robert Platt, he is editor of an upcoming book titled ‘Comparative Effectiveness and Personalized Medicine Research Using Real-World Data’.

Phoebe Jiang

Phoebe is a senior principal biostatistician at Biogen, a biotech company based in Cambridge dedicated to discovering, developing, and delivering transformative treatments for patients with neurological diseases. With deep expertise in precision medicine, she focuses on leveraging advanced data science methodologies, including machine learning and real-world data analytics, to tailor therapies and improve patient outcomes. Her work sits at the intersection of innovation and impact, translating complex data into actionable insights that support personalized healthcare. Phoebe received a PhD in Biostatistics at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
